Steelers-Ravens will easily take top draw tonight, but I had fun watching UTSA-Arizona last thursday.

So who is gonna at least flip over to the CUSA game tonight?

I’m a college football guy, so will watch the whole thing. I’m a little excited about it too, hard to tell where these guys stand after their first two games. Both were shellacked in their first game and then came back with impressive wins last week. I do think that the winner of the game is the top challenger for UTSA in the west.

I’ll be wishing I got that channel.

Is that close enough?

LT smoked UNT on Thursday. Here are the Saturday summaries.

La(“lalalalala”) Tech’s QB Cody Sokol is a gunslinger.

Sokol connected with eight different Bulldog receivers to claim the first Conference USA victory of the season as the senior was 20-for-31 on the night with 243 yards and five touchdowns

Has the whole vibe - long-haired, kinda rednecky look, and fearless. Was making mostly high quality throws on UNT’s somewhat questionable D. He’s one to watch. He’s a RS senior though, so we won’t have to deal with him.

I was also happy to see that FAU punched Tulsa straight in the mouth. They hung 50 @ Tulsa on a supposedly superior “AACk-AACk” team. Marshall also blew out Ohio (MAC), and UTEP pounded New Mexico St (slum-belt). I keep seeing different totals, but CUSA is either 11-0 or 12-0 against the other G5 schools. Now the league needs a couple of P5 wins, but the opportunities are running out.

Also, it seems like that MTSU-WKU 3OT brawl was game of the week. That’ll be a fun rivalry for the league.
