Ed–not ragging on you or anything, but as someone who works actively within the AD as a coach, is there a way you can bring this lack of coverage up as a concern? I see what the Virginian-Pilot up in Norfolk and the Tennesseean have done for ODU and MTSU (respectively) and it has shamed the Observer.
Maybe football will increase coverage, but the move deserves more than a few paragraphs.

This, I know the Observer is an easy target…but it is a little ridiculous when our fanbase is forced to visit newspapers from other teams in the conference to get news (it’s what I do). The Observer with a minimum amount of reporting, could do a ton of good (for themselves as well as our program).

Now we get half-assed efforts from interns or new guys.
