Bobby Bushet went to South Central Louisiana State University. He was also a hell of a football player. Is this the same school?

I think they were better off keeping the name “Southwest Louisiana State” or whatever it was. Couldn’t they just be University of Louisiana? I don’t think there is one, is there?
