Calipari: “Louisville plays hard and physical, and they bump and grind on every possession. Really, it’s every bounce of the ball more than every possession. So if you’re not ready for that and it bothers you, it’s probably a game you should stay home for.”
Pitino: “I don’t play that game. Just pull out last year’s articles. Pull out the articles from '96 when his UMass team played us at Kentucky. It’s a very consistent thing. Just pull that little cord, and the same things come out. I’ve been around a long time. It’s just the same comments, very consistent.”
BTW, here is what Pitino had to say about Houston:
“Why did we lose to Houston? Houston is good. If they get hot, they can beat anybody.”
