Can this happen to IU?

If the Hoosiers (2-5) fall to Charlotte at home on Wednesday, it would mark the first six-game losing streak since the 1967-68 season. It would also guarantee IU a losing record going into Big Ten play for the first time since the 1969-70 season. That team was 4-5 heading into conference play and finished 7-17 overall.

Hoosiers’ 5th straight loss accompanied by pain, Indianapolis Star

Bracey Wright is listed as probable after nose surgery yesterday. If past history is any indication, he’s likely to have a career game against the 49ers.

We need this game badly.

Andy Katz lists this among his 5 games to watch this week:

4. Charlotte at Indiana, Wednesday (ESPN Full Court, 8 ET)
This is what you would call a “must game” for the Hoosiers. Indiana absolutely, positively, has to win this game. Charlotte could add to its postseason resume, but this game is more important for the Hoosiers after their brutal road slate so far.

Yeah, I’m hoping Bracey doesn’t Leach us. :o

This is a big game for us and one that if we win will help take away some of the sting from the loss to Rutgers (I am hoping Rutgers have a huge year in the Big East  ). Not to mention that dumba$$ Mike Davis says they should win by 25.

That quote is from 2 years ago.

Hey Nance…Accidently hit Bracey in the nose. Thanks!

Southern Pines

He’ll happily oblige. Nance is not afraid to let rip a well-placed elbow. Did it against Asheville, did it against Pfeiffer. I wish he’d get more minutes. I love his brand of toughness and he rarely makes a poor decision on either end of the court.

Travis Gordon needs more quality min.

always a good sign when Travis gets some PT
