Carolina Panthers 2021

He advised 3 obtainable OL names that we could sign to bolster our OL immediately (from a list of several other options). I like all of his recommendations, though a 36 year old LT is a little risky.

Using our Mock Draft Machine, here is a scenario that complements the free-agent moves to strengthen the roster.

  • Round 1, Pick 6 : QB Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh - The best quarterback in the draft.
  • Round 4, Pick 104 : IOL Alec Lindstrom, Boston College - Experienced center to add depth along the interior.
  • Round 5, Pick 142 : IDL John Ridgeway, Arkansas - Adds much-needed depth to the interior defensive line.
  • Round 5, Pick 147 : LB Jack Sanborn, Wisconsin - Potential running mate for Shaq Thompson and a downhill presence.
  • Round 6, Pick 198 : OT Zach Tom, Wake Forest - Developmental swing tackle that offers positional versatility.
  • Round 7, Pick 248 : TE Gerrit Prince, UAB - Converted wide receiver that has an appealing ceiling as a pass-catching threat.

This article gives me hope. I would not be opposed to this set of moves at all. We would be in much better shape.

This is just… Rhule is already looking at his next stop.

Next season is feeling like a lame duck before it even starts…

This is a worthless post, but I have been playing Carolina on RetroBowl with alternate unis that I picked out. It has me warming to a blue helmet for the real team.

Any other takers?

Agree on the helmets.
Disagree that Carolina has a real team.

You know what makes things easier with the Panthers? Ignoring the NFL.

If this were a fashion show…

Might I interest you with the Carolina Hurricanes on Bally SportsSouth?

Absolutely not. F raleigh. Go Caps!

Apparently, I am not the only one.

At the end of the day, I’d prefer black helmets for the panthers. But those blue helmets are so much better than the current gray/silver.

I never pay attention to the Uni’s for any team. When did it become a thing?

I mean, I’m guessing you pay attention enough to tell the difference between the teams.

It’s not unusual to judge team uniforms. Some are classic (cowboys or packers for example) and can seem a bit boring to younger folks. Some are newer designs (Seahawks or falcons).

At the end of the day, it’s common to change up unis nowadays. Especially at the college level. Hell, have you not seen the various designs even Charlotte football has had?

There is definitely a group of fans that are really into uniforms and the players definitely are. I think I’ve always cared a little bit, but I think I’ve gotten more into over the last few years.

Maybe it’s filling the gap of having any decent teams to watch play?
