No, kidding, I thought for sure you were a big Panthers fanâŚFirst of all, their are NOT SOOOO many âaway fansâ at most games, but Iâm guessing you havenât been to many NFL games anywhere. Having opposing fans happens everywhere. You see Panthers fans at literally every away game they playâŚbut in Charlotte, it especially happens when you are playing teams like the Cowboys, Steelers and Redskins who were the favorites in this region for decades before the Panthers existed. Also, dont forget that as one of the fastest growing cities in the country, there are a LOT of transplants here who still pull for their hometown teams and of course, they are likely to buy as many tickets as they can to see their old team, given that they may only get to Charlotte once a decade or so.
Iâve been to many NFL games (regular season, preseason, playoffs, etc) and oh ya, it gets pretty cold where my team plays. The tough thing is, itâs actually hard to get tickets for my team and you canât get tickets for my team that cost less than 1-2 stadium beers.
October 26th will be a Buffalo Bills home game in Charlotte lol. I bet it could break records on how many away fans will be there. (Bills are not my team either)

Did anyone else listen to this yesterday? I caught it on playback. Warren Sharpe 
on the Panthers so hard itâs almost comical. The FNZ guys in the studio were calling for Mac to dump him.
Itâs worth a listen just to hear the purity of the disrespect.
Thought his assessment of the Cats to be fair. Not his job to be a cheerleader for a team that has been pretty bad since the 2017 season ended with an NFC Wild Card game loss to the Saints.
I think he underestimates the impact of losing guys like Derrick Brown on BOTH the offense and defense, and he underestimates the improvement on defense for this year. Finally , even he admitted the schedule would be soft so his skepticism about whether Bruce Young is even an NFL starter let alone will have any kind of impact this year seems overly negative.
