One way to look at these players we are releasing is that if theyāre at all decent, in means the 53 man roster is strong.

Yeah, I like most of Morganās workābut that deal SUCKS for the Panthers.
Vikings fans are complaining about it too. Said itās too much to give up for a 35 yr old WR, especially after so many were just waived.
Usually if both sides are complaining itās a fair trade. But Iām biased. So to heck with logic. Lol.

Gotta be honestā¦ my reaction was:
He was our leading receiver returning (coming into a critical year for our 3rd year QB) and was under a very reasonable contract for this year. That makes him worth more than a late round draft pick or 2 without any doubtā¦..and then we through in a couple late rounders of our own as well.
Oh I agree. I think he had good overall value to the team based on what you said, plus he was Briceās safety valve.
