Power is not the same thing as record, but I still think that PFT is out to lunch. I don’t think the entire NFC South is basically bottom third of the league. I’m even more convinced that it won’t be reflected in the record of the division winner. And I think the Panthers are going to have too good of a defense not to stack some wins in the South (eg 4-2 or even 5-1). Even if they go say 6-5 or 5-6 outside the division that is probably going to be around 10 wins, and I think that will win the division if it happens.
Also Kudos to the guy who pointed out that the Panthers preseason included I think he said #s 3, 5, and 9 on that list. Not that the results mean anything but in terms of eye test evaluations - consider who we were measured against.
