If Carr is asking for something crazy like 30 million a year I don’t see how this works in the Panthers favor, we are broke and aren’t close enough to make a run at a super bowl to invest that in a maybe top 15 QB.

If you think about it, most people thought very highly of him except the issue as he was selling the team which he should not have done. Former Panthers loved playing for him and talked about going to his house for talks
Most people aren’t all good or all bad. We can acknowledge that Jerry had some bad tendencies without plating over all the good he did for this region.
I agree with that. He certainly had his well documented faults, but he also did a lot of good things for this city. He was both things.

I wouldn’t want to watch that used Carr for 4 years with the Panthers. He seems like a dude that does just enough to keep his job, but not enough to avoid speculation he could lose it after every season.
