….and another Chapel Hill graduate… the theme is not really resonating with this alumnus. I hope she does her job well. Would love to see a fellow Niner move up in the athletic department. Seems like they could sell a vision with institutional knowledge and experience. Not trying to be a jerk and I hope she kills it. Just wonder about the unintended message we are sending here.
Yep, Hawkins is a UNC-CH grad but has been here since 2022. Apparently performed her previous jobs well in order to be promoted and now given this added responsibility.
Anyway, does makes me wonder how prevalent is it to have someone in a dual role working in both the athletic department and university administration. Also - how is time divided and just one office or two etc? Hmm… 
Would UNC Chapel Hill have this many UNC Charlotte grads in these positions??
Jesus Christ, the athletic department has essentially been the same core for 2+ decades and we start making changes and everyone is worried about the number of people with UNCCH connections? We need new blood, period. #goniners
