We lost to App on Sept 20th by a score of 3-5 at home in Indian Trail. It appears to mostly be due to 4 penalties to 0.
Niners played tonight in Truist and won an incredibly exciting game against App!! 5-4 was the final score and there were some super nasty fights all throughout. A hell of a fun time and a essentially sold out arena!

I just want to come in here and say the fights were ridiculous haha. One of our players got kicked out the game for hitting too hard. There was one scene near the end of the game where an App shooter flicked the helmet of our goalie after the whistle was blown; all 5 of our players cornered him and dogpiled on him and just started hitting like crazy. Another App player came over to help out, but our guy on the top of the pile got up, grabbed him, then laid him down and started wailing on him too.
The next home game that counts is at Bojangles Coliseum on February 7th against App State again. Otherwise we play Duke and South Carolina in Indian Trail on Jan 24th and Feb 6th, respectively
