Call me old fashioned. Call me old school. Call me whatever. None of this motivates or inspires me as a NINER fan. I’d prefer winning over ANYTHING any marketing campaign could EVER dream up and offer.
I’m sure if the fundraising team could control us winning games on the field they would have done it. Until then they need creative ways to generate revenue to help our success
The more I think about this, the more I am convinced that this idea was in White’s business plan when he interviewed. He and the AD have been using ‘stock rising’ terminology since day one and now they are monetizing the concept. We are a banking town, the concept is easy to understand and the benefits are unique and differentiated enough to get regular donors like myself to engage and lure in new donors.
Nice set up and launch - let’s hope the execution is solid and they can raise more dollars (and new donors) quickly.
