Golf team finished 4th and qualified for the conference championship tomorrow. Thursday’s format will be match play. We played solid, consistent golf for the first three rounds and finished 7 strokes behind first place MTSU. Gough had a great back nine today with 4 birdies to help us pull away from UTSA.

We did not have a round where we went low.
Maybe tomorrow they can go low!

Golf team had a great outing today at NCAA tournament in TN. The team shot 7 under par to move into a tie for 5th place with Clemson. It was the second best round of any team today. All five of our guys shot par or better. Five teams from this regional will move on to the championship.

Right on the bubble, with only a few holes left to play. Looks like it’s between us, NCSU and UVA for the final spot.

Finished in 6th place. 
So close. A good year nevertheless.
I had checked mid-round and we were in 5th, with a 2 shot cushion over Clemson.
The team remains stacked for next year. Good times ahead.
