I too was a little jealous/ upset FSL owners didnāt get anything. I spoke to someone in the athletic fund office- it was for influencers. Great marketing, but yes it stings a little

I think āinfluencerā means pro athlete alumni and anyone they polled prior to launch who said they liked the new logo.

Ordered a Nike dry fit shirt last year from the bookstore & did not like the fit. Ordered a medium first & it was way too tight so I exchanged it for a large & it fit like a maternity dress. Between that & the reports of nipple exposure with the 704 shop shirts, I think Iām gonna have to wait on more options. Just give me a freaking hanes beefy t with the logo on it please.

This. We complained about the last AD doing āstealthā operations and being completely ignorant to social media, this is a component of marketing in the 21st century.

Like I said, I was not thrilled by the clip either, so I understand where they are coming from. However, the complete roll out is better.
Iām petrified of nipple chafing. Once it starts, itās a vicious circle. You have sensitive nipples, they chafe. So they become more sensitive, so they chafe more. So I take precautions.

I ran into Mike Hill on the way outside of the bookstore. He said supply chain issues due to the once in a century pandemic was a big part of that. However, I do agree with David. The lady running it is literally running around frantically.
I am just hoping that 1) they put the old gear on clearance (good enough prices that it gets it out of the store) and/or Dean Davis uses this apparel to call out students wearing gear from other schools. 2) I hope they will be working with brands outside of Nike ASAP and get the ācuteā (specifically female) apparel

I understand supply chain issues, but 704 Shop shipped within 24 hours of ordering. How can they do it but a huge company like B&N canāt? Seems like an excuse, not a reason.

Thatās a fair point. I would imagine that the Nike stuff made by small children in China is also having backlog issues more than the local T Shirt company though.

Question regarding prices of new branding:
Do we think it will be more affordable? Jw for those that cant take a loan out for a hoodie.
Also, will there be more kids stuff for my children? Since they are appealing to younger audiencesā¦
thatās dependent on who their manufacturers, distributors and suppliers are coming from. A few of my 704shop shirts are āMade in Nicaraguaā. Logistically, itās closer and probably less barriers to entry vs China?
