I hadn’t heard about this.

At this point in my life these projects may as well be planned for a hundred years from now.:rofl:

Ok then how about building a dome so you can get more big events?

This isn’t rocket science, there are many reasons so many big events happen in Atlanta and a big one is that they have a dome.

They definitely explored moving the stadium but decided to invest in the current building and site. A dome would be great (could get a Super Bowl, final four etc.) but I would imagine the feasibility of doming the current stadium is challenging to say the least.

Build a new domed stadium somewhere downtown and tear the old one down.

I don’t know why this is so hard.

If they don’t do that then they should not complain about not getting the big events.

this should have been in the planning phases for a long time. We should be executing NOW!

The domed stadium ship sailed long ago and won’t be back in most of our lifetimes, if ever.

It’s hard because Tepper isn’t going to spend his own money on it and the city isn’t going to spend $4 billion on a dome.

Teller and the city don’t want it bad enough.

Saw Waymo in Miami recently. Will the majority of people even own cars in the future? Just order transportation when you need it.

Didn’t Minority Report also do something like that?(amongst the dozens of other things it appears to have accurately predicted)
