Chris Sheridan (NBA blowhard from ESPN) said last night in the ESPN chat that Morrison "would be miserable in Charlotte and will say something politically incorrect by Nov. 15th that will get him into hot water" or something along those lines.
I don't know WTF that was supposed to mean.
I hear ya.
There’s this perception among blowhards that if an athlete is a character or outspoken, that they belong on a big market team and would suffer in a smaller market.
What the hell is the basis for this reasoning? John Rocker was a character and outspoken. Could you imagine him lasting long if he started his career in a New York uniform and had to deal with dozens of media outlets looking for a story?
Ha where the hell are they gonna go, Raleigh? The way Charlotte and its surroundings are growing it is the perfect spot.
If Raleigh gets the Bobcats, I want the Hurricanes.
You’d trade the Bobcats for the Hurricanes? I don’t think I’d ever pay to watch hockey.
I think the games are incredibly exciting. I got about as nervous during the playoff games as I do for 49er games. Of course, I’m not depressed for days after losses, but yeah, I’d rather watch Hurricanes games than NBA games.
