Why didnā€™t they at least post a picture of what it looked like on day one for comparison?!

Not sure which would be more interesting - the pictures themselves or the device predating the invention of the camera by almost 50 years used to produce them!

clt says that flight pattern map is as straightforward as possible.

Damn the concord airport keeps growing.

They are gonna have to buy out the quarry, do a lot of landscaping and reroute poplar tent road so they can expand the thing.

clt says 7400 ft is long enough for any service at JQF, the big birds have multiple options at CLT

Commercial gates and parking is becoming the problem.

Upperdeck. Are you a Concordian or an airport guy? Just curious.

Iā€™m all for expanding.

And I live near there.

Itā€™s a business driver and we need to make hay while we can.

Thatā€™s my take.

Being the Reagan National of Charlotte would not be a bad thing.

Thinking Reagan national and Dulles in DC here.

Havenā€™t been to carowinds in years, probably close to a decade at this point. But sad to see drop zone and scream weaver go. Have so many memories from my childhood on those rides

I have a four year old and we purchased a season pass to Carowinds this year. Compared to when I was a kid there is very little to do at Carowinds for younger kids. Camp Snoppy has very few rides. They are currently renovating and adding two kiddie rides but will still be lacking. Carowinds is basically designed to appeal to 14 year old coaster enthusiast. They have removed almost all the water rides and ripped the soul out of the original theme of Carowinds.

clt says smurf island wasnā€™t actually an island

What you said is accurate and I agree.

They are supposed to be replacing these with " family rides".
