Still booming.
Several midsize and large places in the Carolinas, mostly in rural or mountain areas, experienced stagnant growth or slight population declines. One local town, though, saw the largest dip β Mooresville in the Lake Norman area recorded a 1.9% decrease, dropping by about 1,000 residents to a population of 52,884.
Other towns and cities on that list include Fayetteville, down 0.2% to 209,496 (by 377); Asheville, down 0.3% to 94,992 (by 243); Jacksonville, down 0.4% to 70,840 (by 286); Aiken, South Carolina, down 0.8% to 32,694 (by 254); Carrboro, down 0.8% to 21,079 (by 174); and Boone, down 1.3% to 20,080 (by 270).
Iβve never seen anyone in there the dozen or so times Iβve been. Seems like it had very little foot traffic.
clt says 2700 more highly paid professionals in the u city.
Dang, hate this. I always swing by and pick up Niners gear when Iβm in South End.
I wish Charlotte had won the Cincinnati ATP tournament. That would have been a major attraction for the area.
