Big match beyond the attempt to set a new league record for consecutive wins. NYCFC is only 3 pts behind CLTFC in the standings with just 4 games left in the regular season.
Playing from behind for the first time since July.
CLTFC remains winless in baseball stadiums.

That field should not be allowed in MLS. What an embarrassment. The playing surface alone disqualifies it. But how narrow is it? The camera angles were garbage but also made it look like it was at least 10 yards narrower than a standard pitch.
A lot of people were saying the first PK was awarded AFTER an offsides call, which if true should never have happened.
This is the type of mickey mouse crap which makes MLS look like an unserious league.

The pitch was a joke…..bad surface AND too narrow. Made it feel like NYCFC had 5-6 men in the box at all times.
That penalty on Kahlina was iffy for sure.
