And this is why it’s difficult for me to enjoy soccer. I just lose interest and get distracted when there isn’t any scoring.
Glad to see they’re having a reasonably good season thus far though. This city doesn’t need another turd pro team
Last game I went to was I think 3-2. Was a great game.
The got rid of Copetti and are in desperate need of a new striker. I dunno where the Reus courtship sits.
That has as much to do with them not scoring the last couple of matches as the rules do.
Leading scorer Agyemang has 3 goals, followed by Vargas with 2, so not even within sniffing distance of double digit league leaders. Bender still on the mend. Plus no Copetti, Swiderski, etc.
As far as Reus, sounds like he has no interest in playing for CLTFC.
Hate to admit it…but…
First the good - CLTFC scored! Now the bad - NY Red Bulls tallied 3. The five game streak of clean sheets come to an end for Kahlina.
As I texted my son, this match needs to be a wake up call for everyone involved. Having the best defense in the league - until tonight, of course - doesn’t mean a lot if the offense is basically non-existent as it has been of late. Heck, probably wouldn’t have scored the lone goal in end of game extra time if Bender hadn’t returned for his first action of the season. And FWIW, Bender subbed for Bronico.
See that Reus didn’t start for BVB in the UCL Final today but is listed as a potential sub, so perhaps we’ll see him in the second half. Would think so since this is his last game with BVB.
BTW, CLTFC at Atlanta United is tomorrow.
Bronico with the assist on what turned out to be the game winner!

Nice effort today. 3 pts!
BTW, the 2,000+ CLTFC supporters who made the trek to the 404 definitely made themselves heard in spite of mostly being banished to the nose bleed section of Mercedes-Benz!
After ATL went up 1-0, the CLTFC radio crew gave out this bit of club trivia - the Crown had a record of 3-28-6 when their opponent scored first. So definitely beat the odds today!
