Unfortunately, Cruz Azul ahead 1-0 vs Philly at halftime. Need Union to win for CLTFC to advance.
Philly got the equalizer but Cruz Azul wins 5-3 on PKs to advance.
Just looking back to see how Niners MSOC faired vs Saint Louis while Ream played for the Billikens 2006-09. Ended up we were 1-1-2 vs SLU over that time. The tie occured during the 2007 A-10 tournament a week after the Bills had beaten the Niners 5-1 in the regular season finale. Tourney match-up ended 0-0, with Niners advancing 3-2 on PKs!
Anyway, interesting move by CLTFC.
