Miami up 1-0. FC fell asleep on the opening possession and gave up a cheap goal… Despite being up a man.
Zaha is a problem, but Miami is literally running 3 defenders at him every time he touches the ball and we have no idea how to exploit it. It should be easy.
Guys must have been too busy admiring today’s uni. This was literally posted just before IM scored.

Been watching a replay of Sunday’s match. Not the greatest officiating but CLTFC sure didn’t do themselves any favors, especially after IM went down a player. And Zaha really needs to cut back on the flops and “woe is me” routine.
That’s interesting. As someone that has apple tv, I LOVE the apple tv deal.
But pro sports are becoming impossible to watch. I definitely understand his perspective. I refuse to pay for fox sports south/bally/fanduel sports network to watch the hornets and hurricanes. It’s too expensive.
There’s a reason ratings are in the gutter.
These leagues have taught millions of people around the world how to pirate streams illegally. That knowledge isn’t going to be undone. Best thing they can do now is get as many eyeballs on the games as possible and drive revenue from sponsorship, like the NFL.
Yep. I know too many people that will only watch that way now.
The public is tired of being nickeled and dimed by all these streaming services. They either did this or checked out of the sports / content entirely.
clt has apple tv but normally finds something on yttv, espn, mlb, to watch before thinking about apple
Totally agree. I’m not someone willing to risk my personal information by sailing the seven seas. So I just don’t watch. And as bad as our college and professional sports teams are in this market, I am a happier person as a result. Canes playoff games are on cable.
Yep, found an IPTV service about a year ago and use it to watch all kinds of sports. There’s a channel for each MLS team, and I get the UK/Spanish stations for soccer if need be. Sometimes it takes a while to find a game and sometimes the buffering can get aggravating, but for what it costs, I deal with it.

The headline is a bit misleading… They will be re-airing games on a 48 hour delay (Monday nights after a Saturday night game).
Still free though.
Yep, watched the replay of the IM match.
Battle of the Queen Cities!
I might be the odd one here but I hate watching game replays. I’d rather just spend 8 minutes on YouTube watching the highlights if I’m not going to be able to watch it live.
Nah that’s how I feel too.
The drama is in the live event. Even if you can avoid spoiling the outcome it doesn’t seem as special watching a playback. And it’s nearly impossible to go 48 hours without spoiling a game outcome.
MLS badly needs a traditional network to pick up its contract and feature it. Maybe stagger start times some more and get as many games on air as possible.
ESPN did that with the NHL and later with MLB before abandoning both, but while they were doing it those leagues mostly thrived (with the exception of ESPN’s obsession with reducing MLB to NY vs Boston).
An MLS version of baseball tonight would be so cool to see… Talking about the glory days of that show before they ruined it in the mid to late 2010s. From the early 90s to 2010 or so, that show was money.
The Mayor is in!
