Who’s attending the Charlotte/Georgia Tech game? Anyone interested in a pre-game ‘tailgate’ at Taco Mac on Peachtree? 3:00PM?
This Taco Mac is a couple of blocks away from the GT Coliseum.

I’ll be heading down on the 49erfanantics bus trip. I’m not sure where we will be pre gaming it but it sounds like TacoMac might be a good option if it is that close to the arena.

is that the place that has about a hundred types of draft beer? i’ve been there if it is. we stopped there when going from buckhead to a braves game.
EDIT: Heh, there’s one in CLT too. http://www.tacomac.com/locations_nc.html
Taco Mac is great. We stop at the one on Peachtree every time we go down for Braves games. It’s a block or so away from the train and close to GT too.
I’ve been to the one in Southpark and it is really nice. Was there on a college football Saturday with all the games on. Plenty of beers on tap and plenty of football on TV.
Is it where Manzetti’s used to be?
BTT. For people who don’t have tickets already, GT has a Holiday Pack: 4 tickets, 4 sodas and 4 hotdogs for $60.
so that’s the only way to get tickets?
also, what is this bus ride im hearing about? I really want to go to more away games and am trying to find a cheap way to do it.

49erfanatics.com. They also did one to ECU, and to Tenn last year. It’s a damn good time.
so if i buy that package on 49erfanatics that gives me 4 tickets? for $60.
im a noob with this stuff but am really really wanting to go support our niners
No no, the GT offer is separate. Just a coincidence the prices are the same.
Haven’t bought my pass on the 49er fanatics bus yet - but I will be there!
I bought two tickets…
Glad to see this was brought back up. It’s time to get the invasion of Atlanta together! Just to recap: for $60 we’ll take you to Atlanta and bring you back, provide you with snacks and drinks (beer, wine, soda, water) and get you a ticket to the game. If you’re 21 or over, you are welcome to have an alcoholic beverage, just not to excess. ;D We’re going to have a great time, and we’ll maintain a family environment. In fact, my 5 year old daughter is making the trip to ATL with us.
It looks like we’ll be converging on Taco Mac for pre-game festivities. If we leave campus by 11:00, then we should be in ATL by 3 pm or so. If you are going to be in ATL for the game but not traveling with us and would still like to sit with your fellow Niners, let me know. I should be able to get you tickets along with ours for $10 each.
These road trips are the result of a partnership between 49erFanatics and the Athletic Foundation. The whole point is to encourage support of the Niners and to give 49er fans a chance to get to know one another. Anyone who has been on the trips to either Tennessee last year or ECU this year will attest to the great camaraderie that we’ve enjoyed. We believe that this is a part of how we build our fanbase’s culture and strengthen Niner Nation. We hope to get as many Niners down to ATL as possible!

We do need those planning to sign up to do so by next Monday, December 27th. That’s the deadline that we have to make our travel arrangements. If you have questions, send me a pm, email me at 49erfanatics@gmail.com or call me at 704-309-9831.
