I saw our schedule on Braswellās wall. Out of the hundred plus schools he was getting tons of mail from, why did he have our schedule poster on his wall? (The rest were all in a bin)

He seems to be a players coach, with a chip on his shoulder, raised in poverty himself and coached in one of the roughest neighborhoods in the country, doesnāt mind being the bad guy, stands up for his players and is sympathetic to their problems and home life, should be an excellent recruiter, especially towards a young man from a disadvantaged background

Strongly suggest that you watch HBOās āThe Cost of Winingā. Tells you what we are receiving in Poggi. Has completely changed my initial thoughts and now am extremely excited about his hire!!!

Iām not convinced heās the guy, but my choice is to either get behind him or not. I know Iām not walking away and Iām not gonna hate on a guy before he has done anything so Iām behind him. Time will tell. I donāt like having rolled the dice again on unproven, but here we are.

It took a lot of research before I liked this hire. If I had answered a couple of hours ago I would have definitely been in the not sure column. Call me intrigued at a minimum.

This hire doesnāt surprise me. No up and coming coach or head coach wants to work for Hill. He has a terrible reputation within college sports especially after leaking the firing of Healy to the media before he even spoke to him.
Who is going to be on the staff? What does his contract look like?
Me too FSLā¦i would have preferred Holtz, Herman or Mullensā¦but this guy is intriguing. His money wont hurt the program either,not to mention the 4 and 5 star players coming out of SF Academy that may want to reunite with him, through the transfer portal. He literally funded that program and paid the tuition for many of those kids.

Your assumption is that he had to āspinā this hire. I have no inside information, but itās entirely possible she lets people do their jobs without undue interference, unlike her predecessor.

Hill reports to Gaber. Thereās a lot of money going into this hire. Iām sure sheās letting Hill do his thing, but he had to let her know why he chose this guy. If not, then wth are we doing.
