What, not a fan of minimalist advertisement?
How hard to add the word “Conference”?
How much to add the home schedule along the bottom?
I feel like it was “here’s a billboard to shut our die-hard fans up. No need to advertise to folks that have no idea what this catch-phrase means”.
It’s like the Whitewater Center billboards that’s just their logo. the 1% out there that knows what that logo is say “aw, man! so cool!” while the 99% with no clue say “is that for Verizon?”
DISCLAIMER: I am glad we’re doing something. I just wish the folks behind this realized our brand recognition is not at Clemson level and our conference brand recognition isn’t at SEC level.

Seems like the new addition schools are much bigger than the legacy American schools, with few exceptions.
The only ones bigger than us are USF (50k) and surprisingly Temple (37k).

That tweet seems kind of odd considering we’ve both been in the same conference before.
Social media intern probably wrote it. The last time we shared a conference with Tulane, they were in diapers.
Yep----for ~15 years (Metro and C-USA).
The penitentiary is a place of interest/attraction. Ha! Probably so for Philly.

FWIW, it’s now a museum - the prison closed in 1971. Most famous inmate was Al Capone.
BTW, reminded that Temple and UNCC both had their beginnings as night schools, thus the one time shared Owl mascot.
They left out one notable “alum.”

49 shades is right. This is a HUGE upgrade over CUSA.tv days. Do not doubt that the move up to the American was a big deal in nearly every way.
