Our golf program is awesome.
Man…we really tanked on the back nine.
We were -2 with a 6 stroke lead on the field at the turn.

Don’t 5 guys make the score?
if each guy had 1 bogey on the back and one of them had 2 bogeys that would put them at +4, not horrible, especially if they finish day 1 three strokes ahead of “Stanford” not too shabby

Front 9 looks tougher on this course than the back 9. Most teams scored better on back 9. We started on back 9 today.
So we finished the day in first, 1 stroke up on the Gamecocks. Weren’t we a 10 seed? Great start Niners.
Check out the Tempe Regional, looks to be a very tight battle there currently, I like a 7 stroke advantage on the #5 team with two days to go, very awesome start for sure!! Plus being ahead of Auburn has to be fun for Cabbage!!

Also of note, I believe the SEC has 13 teams in the regionals. Crazy :o

That may be the high round of all schools today!!!
Good news is…we’re still in 7th (for now) with another day left.
Most teams scores were up today, but our guys really did stink it up. They still have a chance for top 5, but they’re going to need to gain atleast 6-8 shots on 2 teams to get in there.
