At this point, I think I will be happy if I see 3 and outs and actually get to know the names of the other teamsβ punters. If we go to a bowl game, that is well beyond the progress I was hoping for before Biff was hired. The thing I am watching for is in future years when the SFA well dries up, what kind of recruits will we be seeing then? Will our staff be able to continue to get 4*? I like what I have seen them do so far and am looking forward to my 7-9 games in 2023. I am sure we will win more than 1 home game this year, so get your tickets soon!
I like Biffβs swagger and I think he really believes he can back it up, or near enough to get a pass.
As for my expectations? I have been holding off to see who our starting QB is going to be. I think that is crucial. Biff has addressed most of the roster holes and I feel much better about the likelihood of having a quality two deep come august. But until I see who is gonna be under center, Iβm not sure what to think. I think we will be better but so will our competition. How we fare against them will probably come down to our offensive efficiency.
I also think Biff is probably even more excited about next yearβs recruiting class. Which is kind of exciting too.

Holding teams to under 30 points would be a nice change. We did that only 3 games out of 12 last year and were 2-1 in those game.
We will get to know our QB this spring. If he can moved the ball well against our advertised Top 15 defense, we will know good. Defense is usually ahead of offense early, and especially with young QBβs. If Foster is #1, we are in big trouble
Agree. Maybe foster surprises, but he hasnβt really shown much in the time he has gotten. Maybe Biff can use him better, but I liked what I saw out of Xavier williams a lot more last year.

Ideally, we would bring in someone better than either Williams or Foster, though I have nothing against either of them. We needed to upgrade pretty much every position but WR, which we also need to upgrade now due to the departures.
That doesnβt mean that Williams canβt decide he is going to beat out whoever Poggi brings in. Thatβs the kind of attitude we want.
