Figured we would get the smack talk out of other threads and get them started in here.
When is the last time a former Niner played in Halton Arena as the opponent? What reaction will Shamarr Bowden get? I think we should boo everytime he gets the ball. Through 3 tough games against top notch quality opponents this year (DIII Wash & Lee, DIII Methodist and UNCG) he is shooting: 4/18 FG, 2-14 3PT
I want us to beat them just as bad as I want to beat Davidson.

With his shooting %, I think we should cheer when he gets the ball, maybe even chant
"shoot it".
EZU pulled out a squeaker over UNCG tonight, 76-73. I love how the game recap on ESPN says “The Pirates’ 3-0 start is their first since the 2008-09 season…” Really pathetic saying this when 2 of the 3 games were against D3 schools.
I never thought about this school much, so maybe it’s just StillJonesing or counting D3 games as wins, but I really hope we b!tch-slap the hell out of this team.
Curtis Nash came back to Halton and played against the Niners in an exhibition when he played on that traveling “all-star” team. He actually looked pretty good in that game.

Bowden shot over 40% from oustide last year and was the 2nd best 3 point percentage shooter in CUSA. It’s just a matter of time before his shots fall. He’s played great floor games so far this season and has 16 assist and 1 turnover in 3 games so he is helping us in otherways, and he would have certainly helped your team this year with your lack of shooting. 6-10, 240lb freshman Guilmette would have too. He’s way ahead of what I was expecting at this point.
Major sure offered Guilmette, and he’s come up pretty empty on anyone decent over 6-7 in his 3 recruiting classes so far, going on 4. I’d disagree. Regardless, you do relize early signing was this week and Braswell is graduating? You could have used a 6-10, 240lb guy that can actually contribute this year, and certainly the 3 years to follow. Most big time schools could have used him too because 6-10, 240lb 18 year old freshman that are this good this early don’t grow on tree’s.
The thing about SJ’s BS is that on top of spewing it, he wont come near here after the Niners kick ECUs teeth in again.
You are pathetic. I wish you were at least entertaining in your shtick. You’re not.
Guilmette loves Nond1 comp, good for him.
Also, I’ve never seen a team offer a scholarship and then back off.
Keep telling yourself that, just like when you tried to tell me about how you had your PF’s (undersized at that) committed before him and did need a 6-10 guy like him. This when Guilmette had commited to us 2 weeks earlier than the earliest one you got a commit from, and you still had a scholarship available you were out offering it to other guys with legit size to. You wanted and really needed him, and still really need a 6-10 center even now. Good luck finding one of those as good as him in the spring. Major’s track record of spring signings isn’t very good.
Word was he owned Howell from NC State in the scrimmage. You will get to see him at least 7 times so you’ll see. I’ve already seen enough and heard enough from the coaches and his teamates to know he is going to be a big time player here. He’s already good, he can be great.
I assume you are not referring to EZU. How many times has EZU played in the NCAA? Tell us. We can’t wait to hear.
No, actually I was refering to the ACC, SEC, etc. Guilmette is good enough to play for about anyone. We were very fortunate to have got him early.
Mike Thorne was pretty awesome against DII competition too.
let me know when he plays a team with legit talent inside. Chances are it won’t be until you play us.
