Charlotte vs. UNC-Charlotte

I’ve heard that Central Piedmont is changing their name to UCLA. University of Charlotte 'Lizbeth Avenue. Look for this in the Disturber tomorrow.

Adressing the UCLA isssue. UCLA is a distinct name just like UNC. UNCC is not.

I agree, UCLA is distinctive, maybe if Charlotte would have the type of program history UCLA or UNC have, it wouldn’t matter if we were Charlotte or UNCC. However, I realize being called UNCC hurts our ability to be recognized and makes it difficult for others to differentiate us from Chapel Hill. So my only real point in this, because I agree with you about that topic, is that Al Gore sucks.

Our goal post supports have “UNC Charlotte” written across them and are very visable on TV. Just curious why it wasn’t changed to “Charlotte 49ers.”

Al Gore doesn’t suck. Well he sorta does, but I like him. And he never said he created the internet. All he did was allow Georgw Bush to make America think he did when Bush said “And this is from the guy who invented the internet” in the 2000 debates. Gore just stood back and expected everyone to know bush was making up stuff but they didnt know it was false and believed him and bush won. Al Gore is an idiot. Al Gore and John Kerry are the worst politicians us donkey’s could have nominated. I like them though.

Al Gore sucks, no he doesn’t, well yes he does, but I like him even though he sucks. He and John Kerry both suck, but they’re good because they suck. I just don’t get Democrats. No offense to Democrats, I just don’t get you. That being said, Bush is an idiot too. Can’t we just clone FDR?

If we had 10 NCAA Championships I don't think anyone would get our name wrong.

good point about the goal post saying UNC Charlotte…I was surprised to see that this was written along the scorer’s table as well when I watched the game on C-Set last nite. i see where the confusion comes from…when you guys are on TV, people see the UNC Charlotte so they don’t know they are wrong when they call you that.
