Alexander and Concord Academy came up short in yesterdayโs NCISAA 3A girls championship game at Charlotte Latin vs Grace Christian of Sanford.

Pretty much a clank fest in Denton so far. UNT 19-17 in 2nd qtr.
Mean Green run to lead 31-21 at the half.
UNT 56-52 just past halfway of 4th qtr.
Gave 3rd place North Texas a game but come up short 67-58 as Mean Green close on an 11-4 run.
Had a free throw to tie late. Missed it and downhill from there.
Womenโs game was much better to watch than the menโs game. Itโs the best I have seen them play this year. They had a chance to win and turned the ball over. Still, they played with a lot of energy last night.
Another impressive outing. Canโt wait to see how this team is going to turn it around
Yep, definitely seems like they used it all up vs 2nd place UNT the previous game. O-fer on 3s and 9-20 on FTs didnโt help either. A win would have given us the tie breaker vs Wichita State for seeding in the AAC tournament.
