Charlotte Women's Lacrosse ๐Ÿฅ

Iโ€™m pumped about womenโ€™s LX. Not sure exactly how to spell it yet!

Seems like fun. The only drawback I see is that the ball is so small it may not show up on ESPN+. Make sure to bone up on the basic rules. Attack zone is 7 on 7, with 4 from each team remaining on the opposite end of the field. Ninety seconds of possession for the attacking team to score. Otherwise, turnover. Fouling players are put in โ€œpenalty boxโ€ for 1 or 2 minutes. Other than holding, I have no idea what a foul is. Fouls next to the goal can result in a 1 on 1 shot for the attacking team or indirect shot, which is just possession near the goalโ€ฆ
Our โ€œpenalty boxโ€ area is 2 folding chairs next to the bench area . Looks pretty comfortable. to be honest.

I like that the matches are not overly long.

Iโ€™m saving your post for future reference. If I come to a game (from Tryon) will you sit with me?

JKJKJK. JK. Had to type more.

Iโ€™m sure there is a lot of information about the game on the internet.

For example:

Menโ€™s and womenโ€™s lacrosse have different rules. Lots of differences.

BTW, greatest menโ€™s lacrosse player?

Some would say itโ€™s this guy:

For anyone interested there will be folks at the stadium tailgating Saturday for lacrosse. I have a prior engagement at the DuBois Center so I and the ambulance will not be there, but anyone is welcome to join them.
