I suspected recruiting was in big trouble when we signed Richart.
His offer list was not what I would expect to see for one of our recruits.
I pray that he is another diamond in the rough find like Khalifa!
Beyond that, the level of recruiting seems to have simply fallen off a cliff.
Sanchez had better pull a few rabbits out of the hat.
What just SUCKS about this is that if he had been a better coach and better at integrating the talent we have, we could be going into next year with Young, Khalifa and Brice and all the returnees.
With a good coach that would be a loaded team!!!

But…I hear we’re heading in the righr direction and building men. Mike and Ron like rhe state of our program. Are there hidden things that our players, fans, supporters and recruits cant see ? Not knocking rhe players we have in any way…only rhe ones we dont have. Why is it we dont have them Ronnie ?
Are there juat better leaders of men and builders of pillars elsewhere?

Which makes me hopefull that Richart will similarly flourish here. Maybe Sanchez and staff have an eye for bigs that work in his system.
Bamba certainly did well in his one year here.
I don’t think Aly was even ranked until months after he committed here. Probably because he wasn’t on anyone else’s radar as far as college recruiting goes. It turned out pretty good but then there is Rissetto who didn’t exactly turn out to be great.
Washington state, cincy and i believe STdavidson recruited him

Probably depends on what Golden wants out of his bigs. Might want to employ a two headed monster. Definitely needs to do something different after this past season.

The difference is Winthrop will compete for a championship and a spot in the tournament. Ron won’t finish top half of the AAC.
