One of the best NC classes in history. 12 players in the national top 150. We really need to be grabbing some of these guys. No excuses.

I would be surprised if we are really involved with any of these guys.
We were always good when the State was deep in talent as was Wake. Really important component to our winning teams.

Having a losing record go nowhere coach is a pretty solid excuse for not landing any of these guys.

Our style is still just not attractive to a lot of top players. Especially when you aren’t winning anything meaningful. Our players don’t look like they are having fun half the time. Still amazed at how much fun dijuan was having in that video on Twitter compared to what’s normally on the court.

The point I was trying to make is that Poggi didn’t let any of those excuses stop him from recruiting a kick ass class. It’s time we did that in Hoops too. No excuses. We need ballers.

Poor comparison. Poggi knew almost every single kid in his class from his days as a HS coach or they went to that high school later.
Love Poggi so far but how bout we wait til he actually coaches a season or even a game before comparing him to Ron.
