clt asks if we beat Louisville

Would appy still talk about beating Michigan?

Would the observer even mention it?

Would Phillips and Olsen enter the heisman picture?

Would the inevitable SEC invite happen during the season?

if? Congratulations to Brad Lambert on his new P5 gig

  1. Yes, they have nothing else to brag about.
  2. Will the game be over before the phantom deadline we used to hear about?
  3. Too early to tell.
  4. I thought it had already happened.

We’d then go and lose to Elon, because Charlotte, is the answer to all of these.

This guy gets it.

If we win tonight, we will certainly take ECU’s spot in the Big 12.

It would be worth it.

A win at Louisville would change the course of our program’s history.

D.O.B.A.

It is so unlikely it’s not even funny…but if our David could somehow slay Goliath…the timing would be perfect. It would make a statement to the fanbase, it would sell more tickets instantly, it would fast forward stadium expansion…and it would get us into Conference realignment conversations.

A literal game changer to our entire program…if we could pull it off.

clt has a good feeling…

So im on watchespn and it says we are blacked out…

That was easy, LBs didn’t look good that series.

Call me crazy but I’m already happy.

  • It took them more than 3 plays to score.
  • We got a 1st down and completed 2 passes already.
  • Hart’s punt!!!

Seriously…much better than last year already!!

Great job D

Agreed…this game is going to be ugly due to the quality of the opponent, but it’s nice to see Olsen slinging the ball around with confidence. We never saw that out of the QBs last year after the first two games.

Thank you. After reading the first few posts, I was beginning to wonder if I was a bit tipsy while watching the game, because I was generally pleased with the progress made from last year. Optically, that game was brutal; however, this team looks far improved over last year. If we struggle against Elon next week (a L last year), then I will be concerned, but I don’t see how that would happen after last night.
