You know, I told a coworker, that I figured the officials would make up for regular time in the first OT, but it took them two OT’s to give Crap Hole Hill the game… I didn’t actually watch the game, but I am assuming it was the same old, same old where Cryler Hansboro might as well bring a chair to the lane and all those in baby blue are allowed 5 steps and granted unlimited moving picks.

the foul count was 31 to 14, FT difference was 36 to 7, there was a period where Carolina went over 12 minutes in the first half w/o a foul called, meanwhile Clemson got 10 straight called.

Wow, at least the A10 officials make sure everyone gets in bonus…

I can’t believe I am defending the Tarholes, but you actually have to play defense to get fouls called on you. I watched that game, and aside from some slaps that led to steals, the Tarholes really do not play defense. They are downright pathetic at times. Roy really wants them to win by just being more efficient than you on offense. I really don’t think he gives a crap about defense.

And so it continues…

I watched the game, and NA is right. Not many fouls to call when they’re letting the other team blow by for layups all night, with no help defense. Tar Heels’ fatal flaw: Not athletic enough.

This has been present since the Dean Smith days…what my grandfather used to call the Tar Heel Offense.

1)Be the first one down the court.
2)Shoot.

Clemson gave that game away. The entire game it seemed like they’d drive and get an easy layup… as soon as OT comes… they start settling for jumpshots. It also helped Chapel Hill that Clemson is absolutely atrocious at the free throw line.

But anyone that doesn’t think Hansbrough gets away with an inordinate amount of bull is crazy.

Not so much the calls Clemson wasnt getting that people are mad about. More about the calls UNC WAS getting. Hasbrough was intitiating all the contact. Other than the Clemson player stnading straight up, hands in the air and not moving, what is he supposed to do?
