We are where we need to be to continue to develop. Three bowl wins in three years. Nobody is complaining about our conference right now. You might be in a slightly better conference, but we are a far better football program. I’ll take it.
Also it appears CUSA picked the city of Charlotte more so than UNCC. In hindsight I think a lot of your conference would do an App for UNCC swap in a heartbeat. These are opinions i’ve heard from other CUSA friends, not my own.

Hold on there pardner (Tweetsie-talk), Charlotte is a founding member of CUSA, and in our 10 years there against Louisville, Cincinatti, Marquette, St. Louis, etc., we had the second best winning percentage in men’s basketball in the conference. Our invitation to come back to CUSA came before we ever recruited the first player, or turned the first shovel of dirt to build the stadium, and it was because we were (finally) adding football. We earned our spot in this league many times over. Now the invitation we got to join the Sun Belt at the same time may have been because of where we are…no, come to think of it we founded that conference too and did okay there before the Metro recruited us away. I guess I am just going to have disagree with you on this.
Like I said, not my opinion. Friends from Marshall and USM stated this recently. All conferences are, or used to be, focused on markets, or a combo of markets and football. I think this is why they feel this way. They wanted a redo.
Go check stats. sunbelt rated better than CUSA and got a better TV contract.

None of the marquee schools that made CUSA what it was are still there. You got invites solely because of the potential of the CLT market which you’ve done nothing to improve. So don’t act like you are in some elite P5 waiting room.

I’ll tell you this with certainty because I heard it from Judy’s mouth at a scholarship dinner at Quail Hollow. She didn’t want App in the same conference. In so many words insulted my alma mater. It made so much sense for both schools to be part of the same conf. It would have been good for both schools but Judy was pissed at our ass of an AD and stuck a fork in it.

Is Southern Miss in your conference? Maybe you missed the part of my answer that stated “conference schedule ” And the SBC contract does not mandate mid week games?
On what day of the week does App play Arkansas St.? Appears to be a Tuesday.
I think it’s you that needs to to do some studying if you can take a break from your delusions of grandeur long enough to do so.
