We have friends who own a condo in Chetola. We are frequently in Blowing Rock. We love it and drive over to West Jefferson most trips as well…we almost never go downtown Boone (and all around the immediate campus) because its a dump for the most part.
I don’t excpect a UNCC grad to have high praise for downtown Boone.
Like I said, downtown being a dump is subjective. University City’s crime is objective. Somebody even gave us a map stating so.

Our offense strengths: We have a strong running back, as well as talented but unproven young wide receivers. Our linemen are not talented, but they are experienced.
Weaknesses: Completely unproven quarterback play with a brand new offensive coordinator, and a lack of talent on the offensive line. I expect that nosetackle y’all have from Carson to have a field day.

You can claim all the black as your own, which is a nice move. But everyone knows App has their allotment plus some amount more so it comes off as weak and desperate.
