I think the Wissel years were better than this. They lasted only 3 years, and our 1-11 football team is at least as bad as our worst basketball team during the Wisselball era.
The difference in the Wissel era and now is our administration was smart enough to quickly take action back then.

No…but we were SPANKING Louisville then.
We don’t have to be corrupt to be relevant. We weren’t corrupt 20yrs ago…and what we were 20yrs ago is good enough for me. 8 of 10 years to the Big Dance, a couple of real conference championships (reg season and tournament), a couple of POY’s…yeah…that’s what I want again.
I don’t want to be Louisville…I just want to be 95-05 Charlotte again.

If CHP sent me that email, I would reply “You’re damn straight I’d rather be Louisville. Plus, they have hookers. They also have a med school, and their chancellor is not trying to kiss the ass of the University of Kentucky all the time”.
After watching the football debacle, reading all of the posts on this site, and watching the beat down tonight I am done. That includes looking at this forum. This shit is too depressing. Good luck to you all and may your sanity last.
