Its amazing how hard it is for this team to just be competitive in games. Ok, down by 8 at half and lose by 16… that sounds about right for most. But we get our doors blown off in the first 15 min.

It was close for a bit but we eventually got hosed. I’m sure the front office will just dismiss it as losing to an acc team and pretend everything is okay.

That was some of the worst basketball I have see in a long time. I think honestly he has mentally lost this team.

I’m with Run on this… If it weren’t for Leemire Goldwire’s 3 with less than a minute to go in the first half, the score would have been 21-6 halftime. Absolutely the worst game I’ve ever witnessed.
Caught the last couple mins on the radio. Even Sweirad and Joby said the team looked terrible and called the defense “atrocious” our own radio guys.

We have played enough games this season to know that we are truly garbage. There is a very real possibility that we are even worse than last year, which was actually worse than Price’s first year.

I’ve seen the comparisons to the worst years of Wissel and I’m not sure this season couldn’t sink lower (winning 8-10 wins against this schedule is comparable to the 5 wins that last year of Wissel-ball, thanks to how weak the bottom half of CUSA is recently). Being so non-competitive in games against mediocre at best teams is just inexcusable.
I’m beginning to wonder like you if the team is just not responding to Price. Perhaps a repeat of his Australia coaching debacle? Hopefully the team turns things around. We have a run of 3 pretty weak opponents coming up, but they are also road games. Will the team look better against them?

I was excited about Price when hired but it is obvious he doesn’t know how to be a head coach at the collegiate level. No type of offense and defense is even worse. I know the man knows millions more than me about basketball but maybe he is just meant to be an assistant coach that can help players shoot the ball better when he has the time to work with them. He also hurt himself as a head coach by surrounding himself with a poor staff.
