Coaches Show @ Blackfinn TONIGHT

Maybe M. Packer would be interested in hosting the show…either in-studio or otherwise he would generate more interest IMHO…

Fudge? Who did nothing but make fun of us?

^ I guess I missed that???it’s sort of his m.o. I suppose

Can’t get students to go to the games, how would we get them to go to the coaches show? ;D
In theory…the idea of holding it uptown in order to get more exposure in that area sounds good…but nobody there cares.

Until the brand expands our popularity we need to keep it within close proximity to the school to cater to the students. I would rather have the show located within a a few miles of 15K students and hope a few dozen show up…instead of no one showing up in downtown Charlotte.

The show deserves an audience…need to keep it near the school to get one. At least for now.
Like I said before, the location is really not the main issue that needs to be worked out. We need to make sure the show can be heard over the radio and online. There also needs to be an on demand option. It would also be beneficial for those that choose to attend the show in person, that they be able to hear the show. A little more effort promoting the show wouldn’t hurt either.

BUMP

This is tonight.

Judy will be there with Lambert.

Maybe she will blame the heat on Bobby Lutz too.

When will they start showing it on Ch. 22?

Per Judy:

Stadium size can increase at 5000 seat increments
Night games start next year, but TV will determine times.
CUSA requires at least 1 weeknight game.

In what context was she talking about stadium expansion?

Donnally basically asked her about expanding the stadium, she said demand will be the determining factor to expand, said it can be expanded in 5000 seat increments to 40,000 or 60,000 seats but we would have to demo some existing structures to get past 40k.

should we expect them to start next season?.. the expansions?
should we expect them to start next season?.. the expansions?
I wouldn’t count on it if they’re just planning to do studies after this season.

Regarding game times, please see my post on the CUSA board:

If we have a weeknight game, I hope we aren’t going to be reduced to busing in. That would suck.

Busing in? What do you mean?

Busing in? What do you mean?
Meaning making students park off campus and bus to campus because parking lots / decks will be closed for tailgating.

I will be interested to see how we handle it.

Do we know if any other schools do this and what/how?

Judy said we would never cancel class because of a game. If this is a true statement then not sure what the options are besides busing in.
