I was implying that they would bus fans in so as not to sistrum the class schedule.
But I guess busing in students is an option.
It seems more likely they would work some tailgating in on campus and rent lots somewhere for the other fans. As much as it would suck this seems highly likely if they are not going to cancel classes.
Very interested to see what other schools with on campus stadiums do on weeknight games.
Having the light rail completed will help with this situation. I think it should be running in 2017. A week night game will still be a logistical nightmare without at least canceling some classes.
I do believe other schools close school early and make students move cars off campus. It can bring great attention to school by playing a televised game during the week. I guess one of the cons of having an on campus stadim is limited parking.
clt says that elementary schools close early in Columbia for Carolina games.

Stadium size can increase at 5000 seat increments
Night games start next year, but TV will determine times.
CUSA requires at least 1 weeknight game.
In what context was she talking about stadium expansion?
Donnally basically asked her about expanding the stadium, she said demand will be the determining factor to expand, said it can be expanded in 5000 seat increments to 40,000 or 60,000 seats but we would have to demo some existing structures to get past 40k.
It is nice to hear some of the details about potential stadium expansion, instead of what we got in the observer a week or so ago. This sounds much better.
I doubt the school will cancel classes, but I wouldnât be surprised to see professors cancelling some sessions if parking is going to be severely limited.
Weeknight games at VT always had the same lot closures, but they had one giant lot for the students to park in. Do we have a place where most, if not all, of our students could park?
From Chancellorâs recent convocation address:
We also need to work this year with faculty and staff on how we will manage any weeknight games we might be required to play after we join Conference USA and their national television package. I would like to say that there will be no disruptions to normal classroom schedules or other planned campus activities if we have a weeknight game, but obviously that would not be accurate. Fortunately, we anticipate only one weeknight game in any single season.http://administration.uncc.edu/sites/administration.uncc.edu/files/media/2014%20University%20Convocation%20Transcript.pdf
Itâs also good to know it can be done in 5k seat increments, instead of a 20k jump with temporary seats and port-a-johns or going straight to 25k. Kudos to charlotte49ers.com for streaming it as well, was nice to have a clean signal with no interruptions during the interviews.

For US fans it would be great, but for school staff it would be tough.

School staff is supposed to have the Unviersityâs best interests in mindâŚclearly this kind of attention is a positive for the school.
Nope. It would be nice to be able to go back and listen to it.
