College athlete compensation - NIL etc šŸ’°

Gross.

Whatever shred of belief in attorney ethics was left is gone with a firm taking a profit share in this.

Attorney ethics???

Thatā€™s a rare thing. Always has been.

Thatā€™s a great oxymoron.

For those so inclined, 9 post thread:

This settlement is going to destroy non revenue sports and fracture D1 permanently.

Yet sports radio / social media yahoos will lap it up.

Sad times.

The players need to get a contract signed in hand. TTBOMK there is a template contract they can download from NCAA and use for any NIL deal.

This isnā€™t rocket science.

If theyā€™re not willing to sign a contract then their bullshit.

If Michigan has to generate 50 million extra, yikes.

Sounds like there is a crack in the foundation of this entire scenario if thatā€™s true.

Doesnā€™t add up considering how much they already bring in.

Where is all the money going?
