How to say something without actually saying anything.

I think this is a fairly big deal, as it probably opens the door for government regulation. A couple more of these suits and it’s going to piss the ā€œrightā€ people off by becoming too big of a problem to ignore.

Obviously none of these geniuses are pre-law.

" good for the Kids?" The ā€œkidsā€ got nothing in writing. It’s their word against his. All I see coming from this is a lot of noise.

Oh god no.

That will only make things worse.

They already have government help in this from their ability to seek relief in the courts, which they are doing.

Could all of this invite the government to start looking into the nonprofit status of schools?

I’ve been wondering if we might see a school spin their AD off to get out from under all of this - at least men’s basketball and football.

Interesting seeing that three of the players were a part of Hamilton’s North Carolina to Tallahassee pipeline, including one Niner recruit. The latter - D’Ante Green of Asheville - transferred to USF. Group also includes Primo Spears, leading scorer at UTSA this season. And most of them were all-academic types, which FSU certainly made sure to publicize.

Anyway, I’m thinking FSU will probably just settle. Like :fly: to :poop:, Noles just keep attracting bad PR.

I hope all this blows NIL to HELL and back.

Reading that verbal contracts can be enforceable under Florida law if certain criteria are met. If this makes it to trial, should be interesting.

I’m thinking Hamilton is coaching his final season in Tallahassee.

Thanks for the information Run. I hope more suits come and they all fight this to the bitter end. Please just blow this all up. NIL, transfer portal and power conferences, blow them all up. I had rather watch all walk on players that are actual students representing their university than this selfish garbage.
