Sounds about right.
Wish the NCAA would have done revenue sharing with one giant pool like Iāve been advocating for over 10 years. Would have prevented all this ridiculousness we have seen the last few years and ended up at the same place for most of the playersā¦
So if college is now proā¦ā¦

Wow. Thatās pretty cool..
I think IU should have had to buy his rights though. Transfer fee. Whatever you wanna call it.
Def needs to be a transfer fee.

Yep, you called it.
Itās inevitable with this pro model. Eligibility rules go POOF.
The five year clock that starts when you first matriculate in college will keep this from being abused right?
For example if you play two years at charlotte then go pro. Play pro somewhere for two years you would only have 1 year of college eligibility left right?
Depends on what āgoing proā entails. If itās major league - NBA - then college eligibility ends if a player declares and is subsequently drafted.
Seems like the loophole here is that Darlan withdrew from the 2025 NBA Draft. Plus his time in G League was as an unaffiliated player who began with the now disbanded college alternative Ignite program.
