Heās sick a GD prick.
ALL FOUR BYE TEAMS LOST YOU CLOWN.
Heās good at generating emotions and the accompanying traffic.
Methinks heās a tool in more ways than one.
Yep, quite aware of what Finebaum does for ESPN. Guess heās got a fan base that loves the ad nauseam and then some!
Actually started out as a serious sports journalist for the Birmingham Post-Herald, where - among other things - Finebaum won an award for his coverage about the recruitment of 1980s Crimson Tide star basketball player Buck Johnson. Us old-timers will recall the latter because of the ābattleā between UAB and Bama to land Johnson. IIRC he wanted to go to UAB but mother vetoed that, with the implication being the Tide āboughtā his services.
Guess we know why they donāt join a conference. Oh, and NBC
Yep, football independence isnāt going away for the Irish. Quote a number of talking heads said they would have to join a conference to benefit from the CFP.
They just need to win. As long as they have a decent SoS and win get through with 0-1 losses, they can earn that 5 Seed every year. Looks pretty good right now when the top four seeds all lost tooā¦.
Texas not running the ball between the tackles with 1st and goal is mind boggling.
The first national championship game of the 12-team College Football Playoff is a television executiveās dream. Itāll be Notre Dame-Ohio State in a battle of the big brands.
But they need 3 or 4 guaranteed playoff births cause their the best!!!
Apparently the Semi-final ratings were WAAAAAYYYYY down this year despite the games being goodā¦and they are wondering whyā¦lol.
College sports without the ācollegeā aesthetic is just semi-pro ball. And no semi-pro football league has ever worked. The same will happen here.
It shouldnāt be that hard to understand. College sports is about tradition and legacy and players that become synonymous with the school they represented for 4 yearsā¦canāt do that when they represent 5 schools in 6 years.
This madness will endā¦itās just a matter of time.
