IMHO, I voted for B10 and SEC leave. I personally think the top end of the G5’s can compete with the P2 (remaining 2), when we are only at a 5x disadvantage on NIL and not 12-15x with SEC and B10. Closer to real football, real coaching and getting the best out of players. Not a fan of just the G5’s, feels like the NIT

The B1G and SEC need to leave. And by leave I mean NEVER play them again in any sport. Let them go try to be viable without padding their schedules with friendly officiated extra home games against G8 opponents. People underestimate just how much their power lies within the competitive advantage I just described. It’s of course amplified by ESPN being their defacto PR department and spreading the mythology of their superiority, which is a self fulfilling prophecy.
Just leave. Throw away the stacked deck and just play each other. Good luck with that as soon as the novelty wears off.
I’m seriously waiting for those arrogant assholes to institute a G8/FCS draft once they do.
