I cannot stand the way these ESPN announcers pronounce Tulane.

Canât wait to hear the ND fans complaining about not being in the CFP after the s#%t kicking that happened to Tulane and looks like what JMU will endure. There is just a huge speed difference in the players on the P4 vs G6 teams.
Watching the FCS playoff instead.
Im tired of the hacks already pushing the next step in the ESPN P2 endgame agenda - which is to push the G6 down to D2.
I think Tulane (not a great Tulane team) and JMU ran into the top 2 offenses in College Football today. I was worried about this outcome and Iâm not surprised.
I do not think for one moment that it means they didnât belong in the playoff. Ole Miss and especially Oregon are just as likely to blow out other CFP teams. Theyâre both really good.
If Virginia won the ACC they would have been blown out too.
I think the conferences have lost some reputation today. The AP folk may need a SB or AC team be near perfect to be ranked high enough and be consequential for the CFP.
However, I do want to note that blowouts happen in the FCS playoffs too

On the flip side - JMUs corners are getting totally cooked. This looks like a bad video game. Oregon WRs are getting 10-15 yards of separation on every deep route. Easy mode.
agreed, i think the G5 teams played to 2 fastest teams in CFP. Both teams speed is insane.

The CFP organization provides a great deal of information to committee members to help this happen. Each has access to a tablet with a vast library of film of every game in FBS, from TV broadcast to All-22 to cut-ups. They also can request any amount of data or information to aid you in evaluating the candidates. There have been instances where a committee person requested other members to evaluate a particular team, or go back to watch a specific game.

Oregon gives up 509 yards and 34 pts AT HOME to a program that has never played in a CFP game before. Instead of folding, JMU won the 2nd half. Believe that was the most pts scored on Oregon all season too.
Another game that got messy early but ended up a lot closer on the stat sheet than the ESPN agenda wants to admit.
All other NCAA sports are formatted for the players. So every conference champion gets a chance to play the other conference champions. The post season for FBS football is set up by broadcasters so they only want the biggest brands on TV.

Well, the CFP is running the show on the FBS championship instead of the NCAA.
