Really solid opinion piece by Pat Forde on all the whining about G6 being part of the CFP.
It so funny that so many analysts and P4 strokers try and point to âblowoutsâ in the CFB when it is relevant to making their point regarding all others (aka non P4). Itâs ironic that they donât point the same thing out when a P4 blows out another P4. In that case, it was just a hard fought game and one team was just better on that specific day.
Again, let them do their own thing. Call the rest of us whatever you want, but they must change their Championship to something different than FBS National Championship since if all FBS arenât giving the opportunity in the future, then their champion canât be crowned FBS National Champion. Maybe they can call it P? National Champion.
To be fair those CFP games were on TNT a cable channel that doesnât normally broadcast college football and the NFL games were broadcast on network TV at you can watch for free over an antenna.
clt hopes none of the jmu players were hurt during the game
G6 playoff isnât viable. The best G6 players will opt out of the playoffs because theyâll in route to a higher paying team.
The goal isnât to create the best system to determine a champion; itâs to determine the best system to generate TV ratings.
How about Manning? What a great performance for a kid the media tried to bury early in the season. He looked like his Grandfatherâs college highlights. DNA is real
I was also impressed with the Iowa QB. He looks more Pro ready than the Vandy punk. They got the Heisman pick right
JMU looked better than Texas Tech; although TT defense would win most games
TT is going to end up with whatâŚ200?? yards of total offense.
JMU had 509.
Will grant that TTâs defense is impressive, but that trash about JMU not belonging was such garbage.
TTU drops a bunch of money on a roster and canât score in a playoff game. How rewarding for their boosters. Time to shell out more money for next season!
