Well the field is set for the CWS. The Niners are not there but we were 1-0 vs the field this year with the lone victory over Clemson.
I’m having trouble deciding who to pull for this year. I’d like to pull for the 2 SC teams, but am having a hard time after interacting with many of their fans over the years.
Here is the bracket:
No real rooting interest, but out of who’s there I guess TCU would be who I want to win. Arizona State would be alright also. I don’t give a crap about the rest of the teams there.
This is Rosenblatt’s last hurrah after 61 seasons. The CWS moves to the new downtown ballpark in Omaha next year.
I’ll be rooting on the Noles in this one. Am I allowed to do that?
I’m pulling for Clemson- they have a couple of kids from Asheville playing. Also, John Hinson’s (3rd base) dad is a family friend. I saw Hinson play in HS and he’s a great kid.
I’m waiting until the Championship Series to make my decision. I’ve finally learned how to do this. See y’all later. I’m off to Walmart.
I’m pulling for TCU, but I’m okay with either of the 2 SC teams winning.
We beat Clemson, so if they win the CWS, we’re Extra CWS Champs, just like the Panthers are Extra SB Champs since the Saints who we beat are SB Champs!
That makes us Super Extra NCAA Champs since Duke kicked our asses.

Huh? We’re talking baseball Savio. Not basketball. But thanks for reminding us.

The only thing missing from that preview is the preview about the Charlotte 49ers.

It will be a great day when the Niners take the field in Omaha!! Hopefully it will come soon.
Congrats to the Gamecocks. Overall it was a pretty good CWS. Good way to close out Rosenblatt Stadium.
